Currently developing my studio practice on the Eastcoast, however, I grew my talent as an artist, and hold great appreciation for my time in Oklahoma. Oklahoma remains a place that is very receptive to my work both as a landscape designer and visual artist. Many positive collabortions were formed there while I raised our family in Norman, Oklahoma (1989 - 2012). Examples of notable art awards and exhibits include: Residency with the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, Vermont 2002; Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition. Creative Project Grant. 2012. Oklahoma Visual Art Coalition. Special Project Grant. 2002. Gottlieb Artist Grant. 2012. Solo exhibits including at the Leslie Powell Gallery , in Lawton, Oklahoma; Main Site Gallery of Contemporary Art in Norman, Oklahoma; an installation opportunity at IAO Gallery , Istvan Gallery in Oklahoma City; plus an outdoor garden installation at Untitled Art Gallery , Oklahoma City. As well I have been showcased in the Circle Gallery at the State Fairgrounds Gallery and as well at the Liggett Art Gallery in Tulsa, Oklahoma; My work has additionally been collected by the Melton Art Resource Library in Oklahoma City, Mabee-Gerrer Museum, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Currently teaching wire sculpture at the deCordova Sculpture Park (March 2022). Current work on exhibit at Maritime Museum/Custom House in Newburyport, MA., and Newburyport Arts Association Range of Lights outdoor garden area.
