I love building things to inspire, humor and make people think. I believe art is all about seeing perspectives from other people.
I create all kinds of things from kinetic sculptures to electro-mechanical inspired works. I love mechanical engineering and have a full workshop complete with both wood and metal capabilities. With art, if you're not having fun, you're doing it wrong. I've been a video producer, cameraman and editor or broadcast TV and corporate communications but I'm slowly leaving the industry to devote more time to my nonprofit, thestemvan.com.
Jack of all trades, master of none. That being said, I can weld, plasma cut steel, have a milling machine, lathe and a full compliment of woodworking tools. If you have a crazy idea you want created, I'd love to help.
