Pottery, soy candles, smudge sticks and herbal skincare created with intention and love.

My love of gardening, crafting, home decorating and spiritual exploration have all crashed together.
As a child I was fascinated by the healing properties of plants and all the different uses they had. I dreamt of being an herbalist and was constantly reading books on the subject and working in the garden with my dad. I was always creating. My high school, Pingree, had a wonderful arts program and I took full advantage. I excelled in math and science as well and felt a strong force to help others so I went on to college studying pharmacy at Northeastern University. After a year I decided it was not the right fit for me and pursued a degree in Media Art and Design. After I graduated I worked as an illustrator, web developer, and in the packaging industry.
When my children were born I left work so I could be home with them which has been amazing. I love crafting with them and introducing them to gardening. In 2017 their fairy gardens were a part of the urban farm tour in melrose along with my organic sustainable vegetable garden(if we ever meet and this interests you, ask me about it! I could talk compost, rain barrels and solar panels all day!!).
From that organic garden I started creating my own smudge sticks from a Sage plant that would just not go away despite some effort. I didn’t love the taste so I pulled it out one year but it kept coming back bigger and bigger. Eventually I gave up and it continues to grow. When I started creating my smudge sticks I found so much peace in the process of wrapping them. The previous five years had been filled with a lot of pain and loss and I had felt totally lost. Through the ceremonial practice of smudging I found some hope for a new beginning. I started incorporating others herbs and flowers from my garden using the research I had done as a child as a base.
I am currently certified as a Master Herbalist and always fascinated by the healing properties of plants which I am honored to be able apply in my skincare products. All the plants used in my products are grown in my home garden without the use of any pesticides.
My pottery is created in my home studio, often incorporating items from the garden or inspired by nature.
