Matt Cegelis

I’m a retired corporate guy, liberated to focus on my art since 2010. I’ve been a self taught student of photography since 1965, and of digital art making tools since 1993.

I work with cameras, software, mixed media, found objects, ice, glass, clay, reflections and visual distortion generators of all sorts in creating subject matter for my images. Incorporating new tools, techniques and approaches to my art making keeps the process fresh and exciting for me.

I like to think of my art as inviting you on journeys of serendipitous discovery, using your imagination as guide.
