Auditions for Gypsy, a Musical Fable at MLT

Marblehead Little Theatre is excited to announce auditions for the musical Gypsy, a Musical Fable with book by Arthur Laurents, music by Jule Styne, and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. The auditions are open to non-Equity actors of all ages and will be held on Sunday, April 10 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at The Jewish Community Center of the North Shore, 4 Community Rd., Marblehead, MA.

Actors should sign-up for a singing time slot and be prepared to attend a dance call only if asked to attend callbacks on Tuesday, April 12. Please prepare a verse and a chorus of a song in the style of the show. Sheet music should be brought to the audition and an accompanist will be provided. All actors and staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 for this production. Please bring proof of vaccination to your audition.

The production staff is comprised of producers Emily Black and Danuta Shasha, director Steve Black, associate director Katie Meuse, music director Lianne Goodwin, and choreographer William Fafard.
