Chamber Music Concert

– Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras (NMYO) present a chamber music concert on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 3:00 pm in the First Church of Ipswich, One Meetinghouse Green, Ipswich, MA.

“Our Chamber Music Concert features all of NMYO’s Symphony Orchestra and Select Flute Choir musicians,” says Gerry Dolan, NMYO’s Music Director. The concert is the culmination of an eight-week rehearsal period during which each of the small string, woodwind, flute, and brass ensembles rehearse with a visiting professional musician. These ten small ensembles will perform music by a diverse group of composers such as Florence Price, Antonin Dvořák, Valerie Coleman, and more.

A limited number of tickets are available to attend this free-to-the public performance in person. Reserve a ticket with the NMYO office at 978-309-9833. NMYO highly recommends audience members be vaccinated and masks are required to be worn over the nose and mouth at all times while in the building.
