Pamela Means is hard to categorize but all agree that she is a force to be reckoned with. Her passion, her superb mastery of the guitar and her politically rooted songs have earned her a special place on the New England folk circuit and beyond. Often compared to the likes of Ani DiFranco and Suzanne Vega, she captivates her audience and makes them remember her name.
Lisa Bastoni is the winner of several awards throughout her career, including the 2019 Kerrville New Folk spot. Some listeners applaud her Laurel Canyon sound while others focus on her fascination with, and covers of, the songs of Bob Dylan. However, she has her own style that makes her stand out from the crowd as she sings of life’s choices and societal values in her lovely country-folk voice.
