Fall Family Event

Event Overview

Celebrate this first of its kind Fall Family Festival at Breakheart Reservation! This FREE event will include ongoing lawn games, live snakes with the Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team, petting zoo, music, DCR Mounted Unit and family-oriented activities. The event will take place in front of the Visitor Center and is co-sponsored by the DCR, Friends of Breakheart, Saugus Cultural Council, and Saugus Action Volunteers for the Environment. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent.

Event Schedule

10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm: 30 minute shows by John Porcino, storyteller

11:00am-12:00pm & 1:00pm-2:00pm: Owls with the Center for Wildlife

12:00pm-1:00pm: Discover the park’s trees on a 1/2 mile guided walk

12:00pm-1:00pm: Relax with a Tai Chi lesson from State Representative Donald Wong
