“Ireland, America and Writing Poetry”

March 10: “Ireland, America and Writing Poetry” (VIRTUAL EVENT)
At this event, we will chat with local writers, Ellie O’Leary and Anne Mulvey.  The Q & A-styled (virtual ) fireside chat will focus on family heritage, Irish-American culture within the larger, wider multicultural America. We will also chat with both writers about creativity, teaching and, in the spirit of Women’s History Month (March), the women who have influenced them in their work and their lives. Ellie currently serves as the Poet Laureate of Amesbury and Anne, a professor emeriti of UMass Lowell, is a member of the Powow River Poets.
