Making a Plan in a Time of Uncertainty w/ Laura Baring-Gould

Making a Plan in a Time of Uncertainty w/ Laura Baring-Gould

This is a 2-part series. Artists are asked to attend all sessions.

Over two workshop sessions, artists will learn the importance of—and develop the building blocks for—a goal-oriented plan for their creative career. This highly interactive course is intended for those ready to hone the direction of their practice, identify priority goals unique to them, better understand opportunities for investment, and emerge out of this crisis with an eye toward greater stability. Between sessions, Laura will also be available for an additional 30 minutes of “office hours” for participants to stay on to digest and discuss the learnings. Laura Baring-Gould’s practice includes award-winning installations, public artworks and small bronzes sold in galleries, juried shows and through private commissions.

Presented in partnership with CFWM’s ValleyCreates Initiative.

Suitable for artists of all disciplines. 15 participants max.

Open to artists in Franklin, Hampshire, and Hampden Counties (MA) with priority to current ValleyCreates grantees.

This workshop will be recorded! If you’re unable to attend the live session, you can still register via Zoom and, if approved, we’ll send you a link to access the recording after the workshop is complete.
