Newburyport Art Association Photography “Through My Lens” Show

Newburyport Art Association and the NAA Photography Interest Group present Through My Lens, a vibrant exhibition of photographic excellence celebrating the artistry of the North Shore’s many photographers.

The exhibition features 197 photos by 41 local photographers: John Abisamra, Thom Adorney, Judy Miller Bailey, Pamela Baker, Barry Berman, Amy Conly, Susan Irene Correia, Linda Dahlberg, Samuel Davis, Susan Duane, Karen Fitzgerald, Karen Futral, Barbara Gaskin, Renee Giffroy, Law Hamilton, Pat Kennedy-Corlin, Diane Koziel, Jonathan Kreisky, Peter Kreisky, Bill Ladas, Bonnie Lake, Ted Leigh, Steve Levin, Gary Linder, Dawn McDonald, Skip Montello, Jim Morrocco, Shlomo Nezer, Greg Nikas, Michael ODonnell, Kelly Page, Robert Pecchia, Jenny Pivor, Will Putnam, Judy Robinson-Cox, Tom Robinson-Cox, Paul Roycroft, Judy Schneider, Philip Schwartz, and Bob Watts. This distinguished group of artists have come together to celebrate the endless possibilities of photography, all exploring exciting themes and techniques in their work.

The Photography Interest Group has also invited James Eves of Cape Ann Giclee to jury the artwork for awards. Eves has an extensive background in classical fine art, printing, and digital imaging.

We hope you can join us on July 16th from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm to meet the artists at the awards ceremony and opening reception, and again on July 22nd for extended gallery hours from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Through My Lens is on view through July 24th in our first-floor Sargent Gallery and Mini Gallery, as well as our second-floor Hartson Gallery.  Please join us on Saturday, July 16th, 2022 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm for an awards ceremony and opening reception for this exhibit in the galleries. The show will be on view concurrently with Flowers for the Hills: Celebrating the Hills Gallery at 20!. All work is for sale. The gallery is free and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm, Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm and is handicap accessible.
