Cape Ann COSMOS

Cape Ann COSMOS media platform launched in 2019 to report on one of the most vibrant cultural regions in the world.

The flagship newsletter, Cape Ann COSMOS Arts, Science & Entertainment, is a biweekly publication on events, exhibitions, publications, concerts, lectures –across Greater Cape Ann.  The newsletter is FREE and now read by thousands of people who want to “Stay in the Know, Culturally on the Go”.

We report on what is happening in the museums, galleries, theaters, concert halls, festivals, and other such venues. The editorial selection range is cool to classic, hip to highbrow, edgy to elegant.

Our content focuses on these fine categories:  Visual Arts, Performance Arts, Music, Film, History, Literature, Science, and Revels.  From Peabody Essex Museum, through mid-size organizations, and the small, hidden galleries too.

COSMOS is not a review publication; we leave the opinions to others.   The website www.capeanncosmos.com is a content destination for listings and short features.  We have recently added two new Folio Pages to expand coverage on art and science: www.capeanncosmos.com/art and www.capeanncosmos.com/science.

COSMOS Newsletter Coverage

Our reporting region is centered on Rockport, Gloucester, Salem, and Beverly. But we check out cultural events within the entire North of Boston, within perimeter formed by Newburyport, Marblehead, Lynn, and Andover.

Our listed events meet a mixture of following criteria:  Originality of course. Indigenous and or historic to the region. Technical innovation and quality.  The subjective merits of fascination, beauty, and sometimes disturbance.

COSMOS event listings are free to the cultural community, given space limitations and at COSMOS discretion.

COSMOS Ad Space Program

Starting in 2022, the COSMOS platform opens space for advertisers and sponsors.  Our readers and followers now count well into the thousands, and all have opted in because of their interest in the cultural life. Based on our own survey, 65% of readers live within Cape Ann (Gloucester, Essex, Manchester, Rockport), 25% live on the North Shore other than Cape Ann, and 10% live in metro Boston and elsewhere.

We invite artists, organizations, musicians, gallery owners, services, and vendors to be seen in the COSMOS platform. And to connect with our readers who are active consumers and participants in the cultural world.

Charges for design services are waived through the Q1 launch.
